Saturday 19th August - Photopass Day at Hollywood Studios

Me and my roommates all had either the morning or day off and it happened to be Photopass Day across the Disney parks so we decided we'd go and see if we could meet any rare characters. Esme, Cat and Katie went to Magic Kingdom really early but me and Jenna had been working late the day before so we went straight to Hollywood Studios a bit later on. We met Pluto and Doc McStuffins before we were joined by the others, when we then went to queue to meet the Evil Queen. It was a very long queue which meant we only go to meet one of the rare characters but it was worth it. We then went to PizzaRizzo for lunch (I know most people hate it but I actually loved it) where I had a pepperoni pizza and a peach mocktail, before I then had to get the bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge and go to work.

Sunday 20th August - Work

Monday 21st August - Work and Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue

I had an early shift starting at 7am so after i'd been to work I went straight home and had a nap. I then got ready and went over to Fort Wilderness with Jenna and Esme, where we met Cat and her friend Nicole for the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue. These were very last minute plans and we'd only booked the day before but we had a great table and we had an amazing time. Hoop-Dee-Doo is a dinner show which is so fun and as well as the great entertainment we had a family style buffet of cornbread, fried chicken, ribs, mashed potato, baked beans and sweetcorn and then strawberry shortcake for dessert. Everything was brought to the table and we could ask for as much of it as we wanted.

Tuesday 22nd August - My birthday in Magic Kingdom

Me and my friends all requested the day off for my birthday so we got to spend the whole day in Magic Kingdom. Before going to the parks we went to the Grand Floridian for breakfast at 1900 Park Fare where we had an amazing buffet and met Alice, the Mad Hatter, Pooh, Piglet and Mary Poppins. Because it was my birthday we were given little cupcakes but we were far too full to eat them so we took them with us to eat later.

As soon as we got to Magic Kingdom we got pixie dusted before going on the carousel, Peter Pan, haunted mansion, Little Mermaid, Jungle Cruise, Thunder Mountain, Tiki Room and the laugh floor. We watched Move It, Shake It and then met the princesses at the Fairytale Hall where we also said hi to Cat who hadn't managed to get the day off. She did manage to join us or dinner though so we got the boat over to the Polynesian for a meal at Ohana. This was incredible! The food was outstanding and we were sat at a table right by the windows so we could see the Happily Ever After fireworks whilst they pumped in the music. It was the perfect ending to the most perfect birthday.

Wednesday 23rd August - Hollywood Studios and Fantasmic

I had the day off so had a lazy morning (still full from the 3 buffets I ate in 24 hours!) and then went to Hollywood Studios to take some photos for my scrapbook before buying one of the famous carrot cake cookies and then watching Fantasmic.

Thursday 24th August - Beaches & Cream and the Boardwalk

I went to work in the morning and then met Cat at the Beach Club resort to go to Beaches and Cream. We didn't have a reservation for the actual restaurant so we went to the takeaway part and bought the mini Mickey kitchen sink to share (this is basically a smaller version of their famous Kitchen Sink sundae). Even though it was the mini version it was still pretty big with vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream, brownie pieces, Oreos,  chocolate sauce, peanut butter, cream, and cherries. We then walked over to the Boardwalk where we had a look in some of the shops and took some pictures in one of the photo booths. We were still a bit hungry so we bought a footlong corn dog each and we then watched the Happily Ever After fireworks that we could see over the top of Yacht and Beach. There wasn't any music but because Cat worked behind the castle she knew what fireworks went off at what time so we were singing along in time with them all.

Friday 25th August - Company D

I finally got round to going to Company D at Disney University and bought so cast member exclusive merch, including a Patterson Court pin and a frame for my name badge, before then going to work for the evening.

Thanks for reading - I can't believe there's only one week of these left!
